Thank you for visiting the Metro Studio@Lankershim website, which is designed to provide information about our proposed transit-integrated development at the Universal City Metro Station.  I hope that you take the opportunity to learn about the exciting project that we are proposing for the San Fernando Valley.

Metro Studio@Lankershim will provide needed state-of-the-art studio and office space to retain and attract high-paying production jobs, set the standard for green development, and invest $35 million in transit improvements for the Valley and the region. 

Thomas Properties is investing over $800 million in Metro Studio@Lankershim to attract media and technology companies looking to bring good paying jobs to the region. As written in a Los Angeles Daily News editorial, Metro Studio@Lankershim will have a significant positive impact on the local economy, businesses, and the entire San Fernando Valley.  We are pleased that NBC Universal is proposing that Metro Studio@Lankershim serve as the new home for the local NBC affiliate News Bureau,  KNBC, KVEA, Access Hollywood, and as the West Coast Headquarters for NBC News.
